On Thursday, 26th July, Israeli human rights organization, B'Tselem, published a video documenting a new Israeli crime against the Palestinian people in the city of Hebron.

The video shows an Israeli senior officer assaulting a 17 years old Palestinian in the Old City of Hebron.

Israel Channel 10 said the officer stopped a group of young Palestinians at one of the checkpoints and took their IDs. One of the boys started quarrelling and few minutes later, the officer beat the boy on his face and arrested him.

The channel also said, the child suffered a nasal fracture and was transferred to a hospital.

The Israeli border guard commented on this incident by saying, "We condemn this behaviour which is incompatible with the values of the officer, and we consider this attack as an individual incident and does not represent the behaviour of all Israeli border guards.
