  • PLO Official: No Israeli Peace Partner

Author : WAFA | Readings : 38 | Date : 2012-06-16

RAMALLAH – A Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official said Saturday that there is no peace partner to the Palestinians in Israel.

Speaking to a delegation from Brazil, member of the PLO Executive Committee Ahmad Majdalani, who is also minister of labor, said the Israeli community has not matured enough to have a credible peace process.

He said the position of the United States, which is totally biased toward Israel, and absence of a regional power that can force Israel to accept international resolutions do not help in starting the peace process.

Majdalani said the Palestinians are committed to a clear peace process that would include an end to Israeli settlement activities and recognition of international resolutions.
