NEW YORK - The Permanent Observer Mission of Palestine to the UN participated in the 22nd meeting of parties to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea despite the objections of Canada, the US and Israel.

The meetings were held in early June at the UN headquarters, according to the statement.
