Author : Group 194 | Readings : 60 | Date : 2012-06-09

The occupation forces suppressed the march of Kofer Kadom in west of Qalqilya, West Bank, which was anti-settlement and its demand is to open the main street which was closed for years due to the decisions of the occupation army in 2003, injuring dozens of cases of asphyxia due to inhaling of tear gas.

Upon the arrival of the march to the gate that closes the road, the occupation soldiers there initiated firing dozens of tear gas and sound bombs from several directions toward the participants in the march directly in addition to spraying them using wastewater intensively.

The demonstrations in Kofer Kadom had been launched a year ago against the policy of settlement expansion which is targeting the territory of the Palestinian citizens for the benefit of the settlement of Kedumim and its ladn that deployed on the territory of Kofer Kadom, in addition to the demand to open the main street which has been closed since 10 years.
