  • Barak: Israel is the Only State

On Tuesday, 15th May, Israeli Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, said that there will only be one state "between Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, the state of Israel". He announced his refusal of a state for Palestinians build on the borders of 1967.

Barak also said that Israel considers the annexaion of the two settlements Ofer and Beit El, Center of the West Bank.

Barak told an Israeli Radio that settlements of Beit El, Ofer and Baal-Hazor must be annexed to the Israeli lands and this issue must be in any map Palestinians propose for any future agreement.
